RIVERSIDE WALK 

2.5-mile hike, easy & flat, ideal for water play & exploration. Best done early; includes scenic shuttle ride & quieter sand trail. Leads to The Narrows start.

THE NARROWS

Hike 2.5 miles RT on Riverside Walk to The Narrows. Slippery for kids, but fun in summer. Use walking sticks, go slow, bring snacks, and allow water play.

EMERALD POOLS 

It is a popular hike near Zion Lodge, with waterfalls and a stream, great for kids. Consider the Kayenta Trail for different views on the way back; no swimming is allowed.

SAND BENCH LOOP TRAIL

A peaceful hike away from crowds, offering a short loop by a stream and horse corral, ideal for kids to play, consider a picnic by the river.

CANYON OVERLOOK 

Fun and short hike with cool features like a 1/2 cave, catwalk bridge, and sandstone rocks to climb, epic views at the end but be cautious of sheer drop-offs.

MANY POOLS

Escape the crowds at Many Pools, starting 9 miles east of the smaller tunnel. Follow the wash for sandstone and potholes, but wear good shoes and avoid midday heat.

There are many restaurants in Zion, but Oscar's Cafe in Springdale stands out as a must-visit spot for Tex-Mex cuisine, offering outdoor seating and rave reviews.
