Rim Trail  

Explore the 13-mile South Rim trail from South Kaibab to Hermits Rest. Shuttle stops allow customizable hikes. Family-friendly Greenway Trail is a 3-mile option.

South Kaibab Trail

Hike the 6.8-mile South Kaibab Trail from the South Rim but turn back at Skeleton Point (3 miles) or Cedar Ridge (1.5 miles) in spring to avoid heat and dehydration.

Bright Angel Trail

For spring day hikers, go up to 6 miles to Plateau Point, or turn around at Indian Garden lookout at 4.5 miles by May or June.

Hermit Trail 

Explore the Hermit Trail, less crowded than the Grand Canyon Village. This 7-mile trek to Dripping Springs is steep and recommended for experienced hikers.

Grandview Trail 

A steep path off Desert View Drive, descending to Coconino Saddle lookout or Horseshoe Mesa campground. Trails are for experienced hikers, icy in early spring.

North Rim Trails

Explore North Rim's scenic trails, like North Kaibab Trail to Coconino Overlook (1.5 mi) and Supai Tunnel (4 mi). Visit in spring for a quieter experience.

Bridle Trail  

Trail connecting Grand Canyon Lodge with North Kaibab Trailhead, 1.2 mi / 2 km one-way. Leashed pets and bicycles are allowed on this hard-packed path.
